Serviceability limit state

There are different requirements to maximal crack widths and decompression check for bridges.

Maximal crack width

The maximal crack widths are determined according to chapter 7.3.1(105) from EN 1992-2. The values are stored in Concrete > SLS > General. There are changes for nonprestressed and prestressed concrete towards EN 1992-1-1.

When you click on three dot button, then the following table appears for Standard EN 1992-2.

The following tables describe the changes for particular NAs which have been already implemented.

The values are dependent on the design working life

Decompression check

Similarly to maximal crack width, there are also changes to calculation of decompression check. Required perpendicular distance from the edge of the prestressing strand or duct to the neutral axis where the concrete has to be in compression is changed according to chapter 7.3.1(105) from EN 1992-2.
