ECtools ACI - action buttons

This article contains the description of Action buttons of "1D member & shear wall design" ACI check based on external ECtools solution.

Run design

After pressing this button the "Report preview" frame is opened and ECtools design is executed in the "interaction mode".

Data entered into the dialogues are stored. Afterwards during the "no-interaction mode" run these data are loaded. When the calculation is finished and final ECtools report is closed, results are loaded into Report preview.

If ECtools design results already exists and are valid for current set of properties, the new calculation is not performed and current results are just loaded into Report preview.

Nous editor

After pressing this button the ECtools Nous editor is opened. This autonomous program offers the check and design of arbitrary sections. See the ECtools documentation for more details.

Wall editor

After pressing this button the ECtools Wall editor is opened. This autonomous program offers the modification of core sections. See the ECtools documentation for more details.

Preview

After pressing this button the "Report preview" frame is opened and ECtools design is executed in the "no-interaction mode". Data previously entered into dialogues during the "interaction mode" run are loaded and used for design. When the calculation is finished results are loaded into Report preview.

If results already exists and are valid for current set of properties the new calculation is not performed and current results are just loaded into Report preview.

Table results

After pressing this button the "Table results" frame is opened and ECtools design is executed in the "no-interaction mode". Data previously entered into dialogues during the "interaction mode" run are loaded and used for design. When the calculation is finished results are loaded into Table results.

If ECtools design results already exist and are valid for current set of properties the new calculation is not performed and current results are just loaded into Report preview.
