A sharp corner in a polyline vertex can be modified through a fillet function.
Start function Edit polyline – fillet:
Select two adjacent polyline sides.
Specify the type and size of the fillet and confirm with [OK].
The sharp corner in the corresponding vertex is modified accordingly.
Fillet type |
line The fillet is formed by a short line inserted into the corner. The parameter Size is measured from the edited polyline vertex along the original polyline side (i.e. the fillet size is not the length of the inserted short line, but the length of the leg of the imaginary little triangle that is created in the vertex). The fillet is formed by a circular arc inserted into the corner. The parameter Size is measured from the edited polyline vertex along the original polyline side (i.e. the fillet size is not the length of the inserted arc, but the length of the leg of the imaginary little triangle in the vertex). circle arc by radius The fillet is formed by a circular arc inserted into the corner. The parameter Size represents the radius of the inserted arc. |

The meaning of this parameter depend on the fillet type. See above for the explanation. |
