Member data

As mentioned in chapter above member data are used for the settings of additional information needed for the particular checks. In this case of Design shear reinforcement the following items can be set:

Class

reinforcement class of designed longitudinal reinforcement; combobox with possible material classes (CA-25; CA-50; CA-60)

Angle of stirrups

angle of stirrups related to longitudinal axis (x) of the member, default is 90degre

Concrete cover

user defined value of concrete cover used in design procedure of shear reinforcement according to table 7.2, default is 30mm

Longitudinal diameter

diameter of longitudinal reinforcement used for design of shear reinforcement, default is 20mm

Number of branch

number of vertical stirrups branches, usually two or four stirrups branches are used; default is 2

Stirrups diameter

diameter of stirrups used for design of shear reinforcement; default is 5mm

Model of calculation

type of design model which is used for design of shear reinforcement; there are two possibilities:

Design model I (fixed θ = 45deg)

Design model II (user defined value θ from 30 to 45deg)

Angle of struts

angle which is used for calculation of shear capacity; this item is editable in case of Design model II is selected only; default is 45deg

When you double click on item in Concrete tree then the following dialogue appears with name of member data and possible edition of them.

When you press three dots button then the dialogue as follows appears.
