Time dependent analysis acc. to Annex B of EN 1992-2

The calculation of creep and shrinkage according to EN 1992-2 annex B, which is mainly for high strength concrete, has been already implemented. Code EN 1992-2 supposes new input characteristic of concrete. Creep and shrinkage coefficients are calculated from these settings. Therefore, it was necessary to introduce new type of high strength concrete material EN 1992-2 in library database of concrete with special settings (see chapter "New concrete material library") . This material has special property – silica fume.

Creep and shrinkage according to EN 1992-2

Implementation of formulas about creep and shrinkage according to EN 1992-2 annex B. These formulas were implemented for bridge concrete (EN 1992-2) with fck> 50 MPa only.

Experimental identification procedure (chapter B.104) was not be applied

Formulas B.116, B.117 and B.121 apply to RH values of up to 80%. In the TDA, we can set the RH values of up to 100%. If the RH values are bigger than 80%, at the beginning of calculation appear warning “RH> 80% is not allowed acc. to EN 1992-2 Annex B”

Long term delayed strain estimation

The coefficient calculated with that formula will be applied on (B.116) and (B.118) only for concrete aged 1 year or more according to chapter B.105 (formula B.128).

According to chapter B.105, the long term delayed strain estimation factor should be used also for multiplying of formula B.1 and B.11 of standard concrete EN 1992-1-1.

j(t;t0) (B.1) and ecd,0 (B.11) for concrete EN 1992-1-1

ecd(t) (B.116) and jb(t;t0) (B.118) for concrete EN 1992-2

User can set this option in material database in property of concrete for both EN concrete (see following)
