Results of nonlinear calculation
The results are accessible in standard menu Results for reviewing of any other type of results. The most important for 2D member are 2D strains and stresses where you can easily find the position of the load on the stress-strain diagram (see below). The stresses/strain for 1D member it is not possible to present in current version
Please take into account that non-linear combination are not envelope combination . Content of non-linear combination is simply "summarized" together.
Results of nonlinear calculation in concrete checks
When non-linear analysis is successfully finished then it is possible to use result of Non-linear combination in concrete of steel fibre concrete checks. The concrete check can be based on different shape of stress-strain diagram, than was used for nonlinear analysis. For example:
- for SLS checks are used linear stress-strain diagram of the material (concrete, steel fibre concrete, reinforcement)
- for ULS checks, stress-strain diagram of the material can be selected in material database
If PNL calculation is used for analysis second order effects with axial load by general method, then for checks it is necessary to switch off calculation Geometric imperfection or Second order eccentricity for , which are calculated during the checks. because these values is taken into account twice. It follows, that:
- if PNL calculation is used for nonlinear analysis, then Second order eccentricity has to be switched of for analysing members in Concrete data 1D
- if local and global imperfection is defined for non-linear combination , then Geometric imperfection should be switched off too for analysing member in concrete data 1D
Second order effect and Geometric imperfection can be switched off globally for whole structure in Concrete setting
