Copy row
The selected row (=member) can be copied by the "Copy row" button on the toolbar of the input table. The selected row is copied to the bottom of the tab with all properties according to the original row. The offset of the copied member or additional data (supports, loads, etc.) is defined manually in the editbox.
Copy structural entity
Entities such as 1D elements, 2D elements or load panels can be copied with a predefined offset. The selected row is copied to the bottom. The offset must be defined in the multi-editbox with symbol @. Symbol @ stands for "copy", 3 numbers define the offset in x, y and z direction.
How to copy a member
- Editbox: use the symbol @ and define the offset for the new entity. The offset value must be written in a special form: @2 0 0 or @2;0;0.
- Select the row which should be copied, e.g. by clicking on the row header.
- Click on the button "Copy row".
Copy additional data
Additional data is defined by their properties and by the owner. This owner must be predefined for Copy row. The new owner for the additional data is predefined by the editbox with symbol @. The type of the owner depends on the copied additional data (e.g. node name for support in point, member name for line load on a 1D member, etc.).
The owner is specified by its name: B12 for a 1D element, N35 for a node, S11 for a 2D element,...
How to copy additional data
- Editbox: use the symbol @ and define the name of the new owner for additional data, for example @N3
- Select the row with additional data which should be copied, e.g. by clicking on the row header.
