Checks after Construction stages
In case a Construction Stage analysis is performed the results of this analysis can be used for executing checks according to different materials.
This page provides an overview for which materials staged results and subsequent checks are (not) supported.
Non-Prestressed Concrete
Staged results are supported for all 1D and 2D checks according to EC-EN and SIA codes.
Phased cross-sections are not supported.
For 1D and 2D Design the option 'All Stages' is not supported.
Staged results are not supported for Code Dependent Deflections and checks according to NBR and ACI codes.
Prestressed Concrete
Staged results are supported for all Prestress checks according to EC-EN.
Phased cross-sections are supported.
Fibre Reinforced Concrete
Staged results are supported for all SFRC checks according to EC-EN.
Steel
Staged results are supported for all 1D checks according to EC-EN, EC-EN 2nd gen, SIA and AISC codes.
Phased cross-sections are not supported.
Staged results are not supported for Steel Connections, Scaffolding Couplers and checks according to the NBR code.
Aluminium
Staged results are supported for all 1D checks according to EC-EN.
Phased cross-sections are not supported.
Timber
Staged results are supported for the Cross-Laminated Timber check according to EC-EN.
Staged results are not supported for 1D Checks according to EC-EN.
Other Checks
Staged results are not supported for any Composite Checks nor Pad Foundation Checks.
While not all checks support phased cross-sections, such sections can be used for the analysis and their results reviewed in the respective Results services.
Within SCIA Engineer one buckling system is used for the analysis which implies the same buckling system is used in all stages.
As a consequence, members not present within a stage will still be considered present for purposes of the system lengths.
