Combination setup
Partial safety factors for ULS combinations are given by ABNT NBR 6118: 11.7.1.
User may access combination Setup manager dialog by pressing red marked edit button in Project data dialog on "Setup" folder. In the dialog user may modify the partial safety factors for ULS combinations.
Partial safety factors - variability and deviations
Partial safety factors of actions γf1*γf3 (corresponding to load combination factor values in Eurocode) are given by ABNT NBR 6118: Table 11.1 and consider the variability of actions together with the deviations generated in constructions and the approximations carried out in designs from the point of view of internal forces and moments.
Partial safety factors - simultaneity
Partial safety factors of actions γf2 (corresponding to psi values in Eurocode) are given by ABNT NBR 6118: Table 11.2 and consider the simultaneity of actions. These factors User may access the table by pressing edit button for Partial safety factors.
Partial safety factors for SLS combinations are given by ABNT NBR 6118: 11.7.2.
In general the partial safety factor of actions in serviceability limit states is given by the expression:
γf= γf2
where:
γf2 has a variable value in accordance with the desired verification (table 11.2):
γf2 = 1 for unfrequent combinations
γf2 =ѱ1 for frequent combinations
γf2 =ѱ2 for quasi-permanent combinations
