Benchmarks 1 to 4 concern manual calculations.
Benchmarks 5 to 15 concern examples of Designer’s Guide to EN 1993-1-1 Eurocode 3, The Steel Construction Institute, 2005.
Benchmark 16 concerns an example of Nachweispraxis Biegeknicken und Biegedrillknicken, Ernst & Sohn, 2002.
Benchmarks 17 to 22 concern examples of ECCS N°119 Rules for Member Stability in EN 1993-1-1, Background documentation and design guidelines, ECCS, 2006.

Benchmarks 42 to 43 concern manual calculations.
For each Benchmark, the reference results and the SCIA Engineer output are given. Where needed, the results are followed by comments.
More background information concerning each benchmark can be found in the specified references.
For those benchmarks in which the verification is done using both Interaction Method 1 and 2 two SCIA Engineer project files are provided (XXX_1.esa and XXX_2.esa).
Benchmarks EN 1993-1-8
Benchmarks 47 concerns an example of Calcul et conception des assemblages NF EN 1993-1-8: Exercices et traveaux dirigés Annexe 1, J.P. Jaspart et J.F. Demonceau
Benchmark 48 and 49 concerns examples based on the document Typisierte Anschlüsse im Stahlhochbau nach DIN EN 1993-1-8; Stahlbau Verlags- und Service Gmbh (2013) containing tabulated resistance values of connections.
Benchmarks 50 concerns the worked example under chapter 4.5 of the document: Steel column bases under biaxial loading conditions, Patricia Medeiros Amaral of Faculdade De Engenharia – Universidade Do Porto, 2014
