As total required |
Total required area of longitudinal reinforcement. If assumed (basic) or real (practical) reinforcement is used, it shows the total area of longitudinal reinforcement in the section. |
As user defined |
Area of defined basic and also practical (defined) longitudinal reinforcement (see Advanced mode for member data adjustment). |
As additional required |
Area of still required longitudinal reinforcement after the basic reinforcement has been taken into account. (see Advanced mode for member data adjustment). |
Reinforcement ration |
Percentage of total required reinforcement. |
Ass |
Total required area of shear reinforcement. |
Weight |
Weight of the reinforcement. |
In addition to standard drawing setup parameters, the following parameters are added for the needs of design of concrete beams.
Values |
If ON, labels are attached to the diagram. If OFF, only the diagram without any description is displayed. |
Draw section in labels |
If ON, the longitudinal position of the section is depicted. |
Draw load case or combination in label |
The design is always performed for the selected load case or combination. The number of considered load case / combination may be added to the diagram label. |
Number of bars |
The calculated number of reinforcement bars is printed in the diagram label. |
Profile of bars |
The considered profile of reinforcement bars is printed in the diagram label. |
Warnings, errors |
If ON, the number of a potential warning or error is attached to the diagram of selected quantity. If no error occurs, nothing is printed. |
Refresh |
Refreshes the contents of the graphical window so that the window shows the selected quantity for the selected load case or combination taking account of all relevant parameters. Whenever the refresh of screen is required, this item is red-highlighted. |
Calculation info |
Shows information about the calculation. See separate chapter. |
Concrete setup |
Enables the user to modify design parameters. See separate chapter. |
New reinforcement |
It enables the user to input the reinforcement in the member following the drawn necessary reinforcement area. If option "Take into account practical reinforcement for design calculation" in the Setup dialogue is ON, the necessary reinforcement area is recalculated taking account of the newly defined reinforcement. |
Single check |
Performs a detailed check of a selected beam. See separate chapter. Note: Single check in design cannot be used for columns. |
Preview |
Shows the selected design values in the Preview window. |
