Advanced Graphic Setup
The 'Advanced Graphic Setup' can be accessed by using the 'light bulb' icon on the view tool bar, or in the 'View' Menu ('View'> 'View' > 'Advanced graphic setup'
Advanced Graphic Setup options are available when Rendering is set 'Software OpenGL (emulation)', 'Hardware OpenGL', or 'Hardware OpenGL (full)'.
Main Settings
When rendering is set to 'Software OpenGL (emulation)', 'Hardware OpenGL', or 'Hardware OpenGL (full)', the following options are available):
Light direction |
This specifies the direction from which light is projected in the graphical window. |
Reflections |
This item toggles the option to visualise reflections. If turned 'on', the degree of shininess and specularity can also be set. |
Enable Graphic Acceleration of Manipulations |
This item toggles the option to enable graphic acceleration of manipulations. Each change of view point need recalculation of picture displayed and the screen. This recalculation can be accelerated by enabling. |
Antialiasing Quality |
Allows smoother rendering. Most visible on inclined lines displayed on rectangular pixel matrix of monitors with low resolution. |
Additional Settings
When rendering is set to 'Hardware OpenGL (full)', additional options related to visibility are available. They are primarily relevant when viewing surfaces in the graphical window.
Preselection highlight |
Determines how entities are drawn prior to selection (i.e. if mouse is hovering on entity). |
Selection highlight |
Determines how entities are drawn when selected. |
Edited entities rendering |
Determines how entities are drawn when being edited or input. |
