Surface support on a slab

Parameters

Name	Specifies the name of the support.
Type	Type of definition of the support - see below
Subsoil	Subsoil of the surface support - defines the properties of the subsoil via the subsoil library
2D member	The 2D member on which the surface support is defined

Individual

The stiffness of the support is defined by a subsoil in the subsoil library.

Soilin

The stiffness of the support is computed by SCIA Engineer on the basis of geological profiles data - see Soilin.

Both

Stiffness components related to the vertical behaviour (i.e. normal to the slab: C1z, C2x, C2y) are computed using Soilin.

Horizontal stiffness components (i.e. tangential to the slab: C1x, C1y) are obtained from the properties of the selected subsoil.
